This competition is open to proposals and trends ranging from Graham, Limón or Cunningham to the current neoclassicism, through styles such as Forsythe or Killyan, as well as the codes of movement that define urban dance and all its manifestations that converge in the so-called stage Hip-Hop. In short, this section brings together styles, trends and volumes of choreographic composition whatever their interpretative aesthetics.

The competition 'Dancing with Stones' is open to dance proposals of any choreographic language and style created to be exhibited expressly in public spaces and whose main driver is the use of open space and closeness to the spectator. Solo, duo or group pieces (up to a maximum of eight performers) may be presented. The organization will select a maximum of six proposals that will compete for three cash prizes.

The purpose of this competition is the artistic intervention of a mural work on a party wall (facade) of a building located on the street.
The theme will be about the world of dance, addressing possible concepts such as the body, movement and space.

Burgos & New York Choreography Contest invites you to create your own choreography and share it with everyone. You can do it alone or with the help of your friends or family. It's very simple: film yourself anywhere (enclosed space, street...), upload your video to your Facebook or Instagram profile and share it with our Social Networks tagging the contest (@cicbuny) and including the hashtag #burgostmueve.
